Snow & Crab
Located in the Vail Headquarters in South Temecula. The Smok’d Hog serves hot links, brisket, ribs, and chicken barbecue. Brined and smoked in Alabama white over night. Every single thing is handmade. even the BBQ sauce. Furthermore, the BBQ sauces are gluten-free.
Snow and Crab, which is in South Temecula, offers Cajon seafood. To be completely honest, I have passed this location on the road for many years without giving it any thought. Up until my friend Jon suggested I go. Thank you Jon, I’m glad I did.
The shaved ice and the tea lounge are unknown to me. I am aware of how excellent their Cajun seafood is. I was expecting a more creole type flavor, It is not that.
They provide sausage, shrimp, crab, crawfish, mussels, and clams. They are served by the pound. I sampled the shrimp with mild Cajun seasoning along with sausage, potatoes, and corn on the cob. The cuisine is served HOT with a dash of spice and is all handmade. They provide a range of heat from mild to high. To be safe, I chose moderate. Delicious Cajun and Asian flavors combine to make the sauce. primarily Cajun with a garlicky undertone. The chef I spoke with is also the executive chef at a steakhouse at Pala Casino.
